Gabe Doesn't Fit in the Box

A Story of Being Beautifully Different

Gabe Doesn't Fit in the Box - Book Cover featuring a colorful illustration of a child thinking outside the box

Do you know someone who sees the world a little differently?

Gabe's mind races like fast cars. His hands are always building big ideas. He doesn't sit still the way others expect, and he doesn't think the way the box says he should.

But what if that's exactly what makes him extraordinary?

Gabe Doesn't Fit in the Box is a warm, affirming picture book for children who have ever felt "too much" or "not enough"β€”and for the families, teachers, and classmates learning to see their brilliance.

Through gentle illustrations and simple words, this story reminds us that our classrooms and communities shine brighter when every kind of mind belongs.

"Today a friend called me too much," Gabe said.
"Maybe you are," I replied.
"Too curious.
Too honest.
Too you.
I hope the world learns to handle that much."
